Uncheck Leave Messages on Server
Leaving a copy of messages on the server can cause a mail box to exceed the quota. If you use an email program, please be sure you have unchecked the option to leave a copy of the messages on the server.
Windows
Outlook Express 4, 5 and 6
- Open Outlook Express
- Click Tools in the file menu and select Accounts
- Click the Mail Tab and click once on the RV ISP Email Account in the account window to highlight it, then click the Properties button
- In the Account Properties, click the Advanced Tab
- Remove the check from "Leave a copy of messages on server"
- Click OK and OK. Click the Close button on the Accounts window

Outlook 98
- Open Outlook 98
- Click Tools in the file menu and select Services
- Select Internet Email in the window, "The following information services are set up on this profile" to highlight it, then click the Properties button
- In Outlook Properties, click the Advanced Tab
- Remove the check from "Leave a copy of messages on server"
- Click OK and OK

- Open Outlook 2000
- Click Tools in the file menu and select Accounts
- Click the Mail Tab and click once on the RV ISP Email Account in the account window to highlight it, then click the Properties button.

- Click OK and OK. Click the Close button on the Accounts window

- Click Tools in the file menu and select Options
- Select the Checking Mail Category
- Remove the check from "Leave mail on server"
- Click OK

- Open Eudora Pro
- Click Tools in the file menu and select Options
- Select the Incoming Mail Category
- Remove the check from "Leave mail on server"
- Click OK

- Open Netscape
- Click Options in the file menu and select Mail and News Preferences...
- In Preferences, select the Servers Tab
- Select the Remove from the Server radio button
- Click OK

Netscape 4.05
- Open Netscape
- Click Edit in the file menu and select Preferences
- In Categories, open the Mail & Groups menu by click the plus (+) sign to expand the options
- Select Mail Server in the Mail & Groups menu
- Remove the check from "Leave messages on server after retrieval"
- Click OK.

- Open Netscape
- Click Edit in the file menu and select Preferences
- In Categories, open the Mail & Newsgroups menu by clicking the plus (+) sign to expand the options
- Select Mail Servers in the Mail & Newsgroups menu
- In the "Incoming Mail Servers" section, click the Edit button
- Click the POP Tab in the Mail Server Properties
- Remove the check from "Leave messages on server"
- Click OK and click OK

- Open Netscape
- Click Tasks in the file menu and select Mail
- In Mail, click Edit in the file menu and select Mail/News Account Settings
- Click Server in the window on the left
- Remove the check from "Leave messages on server"
- Click OK

- Open Internet Mail
- Click Mail in the file menu and select Options
- Click the Server Tab
- On the Server Tab, click the Advanced Settings... button
- Remove the check from "Leave a copy of messages on server"
- Click OK

- Open Outlook Express
- Click Preferences in the file menu.
- Expand Accounts by clicking on the right-facing triangle and select E-mail
- Click the Advanced .. button
- Remove the check from "Leave a copy of messages on server"
- Click OK

- Click Tools in the file menu and select Accounts

- Select the radio button, "Removed from the server"
- Click OK

- Select Mail Server in the Mail & Groups menu
- Remove the check from "Leave messages on server after retrieval"
- Click OK.
